Mirror is a reflecting surface that forms an image of an object when light rays coming from that object fall upon it. Usually mirrors are made of plate glass, one side of which is coated with metal or some special preparation to serve as a reflecting surface.

We offer dielectric coated mirrors and metal coated mirrors which are made of substrate such as Bk7, K9, Fused Silica, CaF2, Sapphire and so on.

1. Broadband Dielectric Mirrors

A dielectric mirror is a type of a mirror composed of multiple thin layers of dielectric material, typically deposited on a substrate of optical material (e.g. glass).

Dielectric mirrors are used to produce ultra-high reflectivity mirrors: values of 99.999% or better. Alternatively, they can be made to reflect a broad spectrum of light such as the entire visible range, typically from 400-900nm, 600-900nm, 700-900nm, 900-1150nm.

2. Parabolic Mirrors

Typically designed as a segment of a larger parabola, manufactured from a metal substrate such as aluminum and coated in enhanced aluminum, silver or gold as standard. These mirrors focus light similar to a concave mirror with the significant exception being that the off-axis parabolic design redirects the incident light through 90%.

Custom mirrors may be manufactured in a range of substrates and alternative coatings as required by our customer's specifications including UV and IR coatings and materials and alternative reflection angles.
